This is a view of the third floor corridor. The opening in the concrete block wall, on the right side of the photo, is the future location of the elevator door. As you can see, the ceiling space will be filled with supply and return air ducts to every suite, fire sprinkler lines and, eventually, motorized smoke and fire dampers at every penetration into the suites (you can see the holes in the gypsum board on the top left hand side of the photo). The dampers require power as well as control lines back to the main fire alarm. The ceiling space will also have lighting and associated wiring. All of this is carefully coordinated by Alliance Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning, Infinity Fire Protection and Infinite Electric. It is almost too bad that eventually all of this work and coordination will be covered!
