Today was an exciting day at the Input Housing building site! Westridge Construction was casting the concrete slab in the crawl space. The concrete slab will cover the continuous vapour barrier membrane installed over the insulation, crushed rock, and radon and weeping tile systems installed in the crawl space last week. Kudos to the folks from Westridge who had the tedious, but important, job of sealing every seam between the various sheets of membrane, as well as around every penetration and along the grade beam.
